A raised circular curl, outstretched sweep and crossing lower lines give this abstract figure its animated stance. We fabricate the work in mirror stainless steel so the human suggestion stays light and open. The surrounding sky and landscape move across the ribbon-like surfaces as people walk around the sculpture.
A figure expressed through gesture
The form suggests movement through a few broad curves rather than solid anatomy. We preserve the relationship between the upper curl, lateral extension and lower crossing when adapting the scale. Space between the elements keeps the gesture readable against an open background. The figure is sized per project, with the stance and overall reach considered together.
A smooth visual line from head to base
We coordinate the ribbon geometry with controlled welding and progressive polishing to carry reflections cleanly through the figure. The surface transitions remain connected, avoiding mosaic-like interruptions and waves around joined areas. Finish approval starts with a physical sample; reflection inspection follows the curves and edges that define the pose.
Creating a focal point along a route
Coastal promenades, parks and hotel landscapes provide changing viewpoints for this piece. Browse our outdoor sculpture category for its wider setting. We orient the figure around the principal pedestrian approach and allow space for the projecting curves. The base and anchoring are developed for the ground conditions, using stainless steel grade (304 or 316) selected for the site.
We review trial assembly and transport sections through our custom artwork fabrication service, and protect the approved surface using the controls described in our mirror sculpture guide.
Develop an abstract figure for your site by sending the desired height, available footprint, approach direction and installation access. These inputs help us keep the gesture clear while resolving the sculpture’s connection to its surroundings.
